The 42nd St. Oyster Bar is one of the South's most famous landmark restaurants, satisfying thousands of grateful patrons since it's humble beginnings in 1931 as a grocery store offering oysters and draft beer.
The 42nd St. Oyster Bar offers a fun, comfortable atmosphere coupled with an outstanding selection of fresh seafood. In fact, most of the fresh fish we serve is caught by our own boats operating out of Southport, NC. This makes it possible for us to provide our guests with the freshest seafood possible.
